St. Clare Fraternity invites you to join in our Secular Franciscan Retreat. All are welcome. We can assure you that it will be a time to put all other concerns and worldly worries aside, a time to completely relax, and a time to allow yourself to grow spiritually in the Lord’s company.

Fr. Rusty Shaughnessy is the Retreat Director at San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville CA.  He attended St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, MD where he earned his Masters in Theology.  He has been assigned to several large suburban parishes in the Chicago area and also to retreat centers in Scottsdale AZ and San Luis Rey, CA.  He has traveled throughout the US, Canada, and the Orient giving retreats, workshops, and parish missions.

Sign in time for the retreat is anytime after 3:00 pm.. Retreat officially begins with dinner at 7:00 PM.  (There will be Evening Prayer at 6:30 pm.)

Holy Trinity, St. Francis, and Mary Queen of Angels Fraternities are holding their annual campout at Farragut State Park, ID.  Location is Camp Gilmore (not White Tail) area.

Pick a campsite next to or near Gilmore: 307,308, 309, and 311.

We have been blessed with Mass from either Fr. Colman, S.T. or Fr. Alberic, OFM.  God willing, we'll have Mass on site otherwise we can go to St. Joseph 11AM Sunday Mass in Spirit Lake.

Fr. Franklin Fong -Master’s degree in Theological Studies and his M Div studies at the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, Ca. He is currently the Animator for the Province’s Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation Office in Sacramento, Ca. He assists in pastoral ministry at St Francis Church, in the Sacramento Diocese

Br. James Lockman - Retreat director Mission San Luis Rey. Executive Director & Guardian (religious superior) of Mission San Luis Rey. Interested in enhancing environmental experience, focusing on water recycling.
